Mosquito Control Barrier Program

Bite Control all-natural barrier applications will keep mosquitoes out of your yard and away from your home. Mosquitoes can detect smells as much as 10,000 times better than a human and even though you can't smell our barrier solution, mosquitoes can smell it and they don't like it. The natural sulfur in our barrier will keep mosquitoes away from the sprayed area for 2-3 weeks after an application. Our trained technicians will target shrubs, plants and your entire perimeter with a barrier application that will bond to foliage, and act as a mosquito repellent.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Bite Control’s Mosquito + Tick Sprays harmful to my family?

No. Bite Control uses ALL-NATURAL, 100% Organic Certified Spray Programs which are NON-TOXIC and harmless to kids and pets, unlike Pyrethrin-based sprays which will kill bees, birds and fish.

What will my plants and shrubs look like after you spray?

Your plants and shrubs will not be harmed or affected at all.

Are there any residual smells left after the application?

It is possible with our applications that there might be a residual smell for 1-2 hrs.

How does your Bite Control Tick application work?

We use a proprietary 100% organic, all-natural treatment that affects octopamine, a compound that is essential to life for pheromone-driven “bad bugs” like fleas and ticks. Octopamine is responsible for regulating heart rate, movement and behavior in these pests and when they are contacted with our solution they will suffocate and die.

How often does Bite Control treat for Mosquitoes/Ticks?

Mosquitoes: We perform a routine application every 14-21 days until the end of Sept.
Ticks: Initially twice in the first week, then every 30 days through Oct.

You performed a tick application to my entire property and then it rained. Will the application still work?

Yes. Our oils typically dry in 15-30 minutes and after applied they will remain effective for weeks. We try not to spray on forecasted rainy days and we have no issues coming back and re-applying if needed, at our cost. Once our organic certified tick application has dried the oils will not dissipate from any precipitation. Rain storms help drive the product to move through the leaf layers to kill ticks where they reside.
